Dr. Ravikala was a student of Karnataka university, Dharwad, which is one of the prestigious universities in Karnataka state. She did her Post graduation & Doctorate at Dharwad.

After having appointed as a lecturer in Kannada during 1980, by the Karnataka Public Service Commission, she served as a lecturer, principal and in various administrative capacities. During her tenure as principal she has successfully conducted various competitive and departmental examinations. She was actively involved in the CET counselling process many times.

Further she was part of the SSLC text book committee as its member for 4 years and advisor to various social and cultural organizations. She has abundant knowledge of

organizing seminars, cultural events and launching souvenirs etc. She has presented several papers in the seminars & published books on her own.
