MOU signed with Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA)

On 11th April 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics University, Bengaluru; the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Karnataka Regional Branch, Bengaluru; and the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Administrative Reforms), Government of Karnataka. The MoU was signed by Smt. Mamatha Devi G. S., KAS, Registrar, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics University; Shri T. M. Vijay Bhaskar, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, IIPA – Karnataka Regional Branch; and Smt. Thulasi Maddineni, IAS, Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Administrative Reforms), Government of Karnataka. This collaboration is aimed at strengthening academic engagement, policy research, and administrative capacity building in the field of public administration and governance.

The purpose of this MOU is to establish a collaborative framework for the development and implementation of the District Good Governance Index (DGGI) for Karnataka, aimed at systematically assessing district- level governance performance, identifying areas for policy intervention, and assisting data enhanced governance reforms in the state
