ELIGIBILITY:

1. M.Sc. Economics

Candidates should have completed B.Sc. / B.A (Honours) in Economics.

OR

B.Sc./ B.A in Economics with Mathematics and Statistics/Econometrics as major courses in the degree with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Eligibility (Only for Karnataka Students): B.Sc./ B.A Economics with atleast 2 papers of Mathematics for Economics and 2 papers of Statistics for Economics / 2 papers of Econometrics for Economics with Mathematics as a core subject in 2nd PUC/12th standard/10+2/ Equivalent Examination with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) of degree in aggregate.

Note: The candidate must have appeared in the Paper Code COQP10 (Economics) entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for CUET PG 2026–27 is compulsory.

2. M.Sc. Financial Economics

Candidates should have completed B.Sc. / B.A (Honours) in Economics.

OR

B.Sc./ B.A in Economics with Mathematics and Statistics/Econometrics as major courses in the degree with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Eligibility (Only for Karnataka Students): B.Sc./ B.A Economics with at-least 2 papers of Mathematics for Economics and 2 papers of Statistics for Economics / 2 papers of Econometrics for Economics with Mathematics as a core subject in 2nd PUC/12th standard/10+2/ Equivalent Examination with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) of degree in aggregate.

Note: The candidate must have appeared in the Paper Code COQP10 (Economics) entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for CUET PG 2026–27 is compulsory.

3. M.Sc. Development Economics

Candidates should have completed B.A / B.Sc./ B.Com or any degree with a minimum of 65% (60% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Note: The candidate must have appeared in the Paper Code COQP10 (Economics) entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for CUET PG 2026–27 is compulsory.

4. M.Sc. Data Analytics

Candidates must possess either a 3-year or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in science/ engineering/ economics with Mathematics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer application / Computer Science as one of the subjects in the degree with   minimum of 65% (60% for SC/ST) of degree in aggregate.

Note: The candidate must have appeared in the Paper Code MTQP04 (Data Science) entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for CUET PG 2026–27 is compulsory.

5. M.Sc. Public Policy

Candidates should have completed any degree (10 + 2 + 3) with   minimum of 65% (60% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Note: The candidate must have appeared in the Paper Code COQP12 (General – Management)  entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for CUET PG 2026–27 is compulsory.

6. M.A. Economics

Candidates should have completed B.A. / B.Sc. with Economics as a major course in the degree with   minimum of 65% (60% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Note: The candidate must have appeared in the Paper Code COQP10 (Economics) entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for CUET PG 2026–27 is compulsory.

Selection Procedure:

(a) Based on performance in CUET PG – 2026 – 27 (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for above PG programs, provisional merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the entrance test by considering test paper codes: COQP10 (Economics) / MTQP04 (Data Science) / COQP12 (General – Management) in CUET PG-2026.

(b) Candidates also need to fill the separate application form for the above-mentioned PG programs at BASE University. The application form will be opened on this website www.base.ac.in  later. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates. The University Admission advertisement 2026 – 27 to be announced later.

(d) For PIO/ Foreign Nationals the 7admission is based on the merit list of the performance in the respective qualifying examination. For Foreign national appearance for CUET PG – 2026 – 27 is not compulsory.
